Photo 1, General Information: Designed to work hand in hand with our My California state history program, the Comprehensive Teacher's Manual provides the instructor with everything needed to make teaching the program a success. Using an easy to follow format the instructor is guided through each issue in a way that makes planning easy and minimizes preparation time.
Photos 2, Sample pages for the first page of Issue 1: The text of each issue is accompanied by lesson goals, detailed notes and background information which provide the essential "facts behind the facts" for each lesson. Response boxes explain the thought behind the interactive questions within the text while question and reaction boxes suggest even more ways to stimulate the student's mind and encourage dialogue. Copy masters and ideas for optional activities are included as well, allowing for easy customization of the program to the talents and interests of your student(s). The manual also includes the answer guides to the mid-term and final tests. (Note: The colored frames are added here to help identify the different boxes. The actual text of the manual is printed in grayscale)
